İzmir Youth Voluntaries enables people to act as responsible global citizens working for peace and understanding in a diverse world. IYV seeks to affirm faith in the dignity and worth of every human being and of all nations and cultures. IYV is an international youth group. It is non-governmental, politically independent and non-profit organization open to youth from different backgrounds. and aims to remove the psychological barriers between different cultures, give a chance to mutual conversation, encourage youth participation and confirm strength in youth to express their opinions freely. It encourages respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms without distinction as to race, language, religion or social status. IYV helps to create a space where young people are able to work together having common aims, to learn from each other, respect cultural differences, empowering young people to be more autonomous in the social and economical development of our groupMission and Objectives
Mission İzmir Youth Voluntaries is to enhance international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among people of different countries and diverse cultures. Believes International educational and cultural exchange among youth further ensures long-term friendship and understanding. If people can better understand other cultures, they are more tolerant and accepting of differences. Citizens of all countries need personal contacts with other peoples and cultures.
