General Information

JCP is a small NGO based on volunteers commitment and donations.
Through open debates, cultural or political events (such as the screening of the film The Narrow Bridge, featuring parents of the Palestinian-Israeli Circle of Bereaved Families, with the participation of two of those parents : Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan; their interventions in schools, etc. in Feb. 2024) and media interventions, we want to reach out to all audiences.
We cooperate with other associations sharing the same values, among them associations encouraging the Jewish-Arab and Jewish-Muslim dialogue, beyond stereotype and essentialization.
We are currently a member of Luxembourg Collectives for Palestine, of the European Jews for Palestine and Global Jews for Palestine.

Mission and Objectives

Jewish Call for Peace asbl (JCP) is a progressive and secular association, based in Luxembourg, which bases its action on humanist and universal values.
Created from the desire to bring a different Jewish voice on the Israeli-Palestinian question, it brings together Jewish and non-Jewish members with diverse backgrounds, identities and political opinions.
JCP has following objectives:
to contribute to the defense and promotion of democratic values of equality, solidarity, social justice and to fight against all forms of racism, especially anti-Semitic prejudice,
to make known the diversity of Jewish voices both politically and culturally,
to contribute at its own modest level to a just resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Main Projects / Activities

Press articles, media appearances, publications, meetings, conferences, cultural and political events (Festival of Jewish Humanism, etc.), street actions

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Bringing a complementary perspective
Bridging with other groups
Contribute to creative actions

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

As former President of the CPJPO 2016-2020 (Comité pour une paix juste au Proche-Orient), Martine Kleinberg, today president of JCP, experienced what the AL networking could bring, such as in mutual reinforcement in our dialogue and peace initiative. We would like to further develop JCP in including it in the circles sharing common values.
