How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
As a Social Enterprise and a branch of an international network based in Cairo, Jovesolides Egypt is uniquely positioned to significantly enrich the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) National Civil Society Network in Egypt through the following contributions:
Bridging Local and International Networks: We bring a global perspective through our membership in the Jovesolides Network (with 6 branches worldwide) and associations like Catalyst 2030
We can facilitate "face-to-face" connections and joint project formulations between Egyptian CSOs and partners across the Mediterranean shore.
Expertise in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Our core mission is to create a new generation of leaders committed to social justice and innovation
We can share specialized methodologies—such as gamification, social entrepreneurship training, and inclusive leadership—with other network members to foster creative problem-solving within the Euro-Med region
Empowering Youth through Intercultural Dialogue: With extensive experience in Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges and mobility programs, we can help the Egyptian network dismantle stereotypes and promote "inclusive narratives"
Our team includes certified facilitators and trainers who can enhance the capacity of other professionals in the network
Advocacy for Marginalized Communities: We specifically focus on the integration of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, as well as the empowerment of youth in disadvantaged areas
This aligns directly with ALF’s priority of "coexistence and living together" and "inclusive dynamics"
Strong Local Partnerships and Outreach: We maintain active collaborations with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Youth Leaders Foundation (YLF), and English Capsules (a community of 400,000+ followers)
. These connections allow us to effectively disseminate ALF initiatives and mobilize local stakeholders for large-scale impact
.
Knowledge Sharing: We can contribute high-quality research and analytical documents to the ALF Intercultural Dialogue Resource Centre, particularly regarding digital transformation and youth employment in the MENA region
By joining the Network, we aim to transform our background in social entrepreneurship and youth mobility into collective action that strengthens "democratic resilience" and "coexistence" across the Mediterranean.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
Joining the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) Network is a strategic priority for Jovesolides Egypt because it aligns with our mission to foster intercultural dialogue, youth leadership, and social innovation across the Euro-Mediterranean region
As a branch of an international network with six global branches, we seek to join this "Network of Networks" to strengthen ties between the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Our motivation is driven by the following core objectives:
Fostering Inclusive Societies: Our mission to create a new generation of leaders committed to social justice and solidarity directly mirrors ALF’s commitment to nurturing inclusive societies where diversity is celebrated.
Addressing Shared Priorities: We aim to collaborate on ALF's priority topics, such as peacebuilding, inclusive dynamics, and migrant integration.
Our experience in helping solve integration problems for refugees and asylum seekers fits perfectly with the ALF goal of "coexistence and living together".
Networking and Experience Sharing: Joining the largest civil society network in the region (over 4,500 members) provides a unique platform for creative problem-solving and sharing methodologies in social entrepreneurship and digital transformation with specialized entities across 43 countries.
Accessing Mobility and Growth: Participation in the network allows us to engage in flagship programs like ALFinMotion, which facilitate face-to-face connections to co-create cultural initiatives, develop joint projects for international donors, and produce cross-border knowledge.
Dismantling Stereotypes: We intend to leverage the network to expand our virtual and in-person youth exchanges, which are essential for challenging misinformation and building democratic partnerships based on equality and tolerance
