Dance House Lefkosia is an non for profit organization( with a five people board and two main collaborators working as artistic director and cultural officer) dedicated to the development of dance and performance located in the heart of Nicosia. Since its founding in 2012, we value artistic plurality, local and international collaborations, reflection innovation and research, social awareness and well-being.
Mission and Objectives
Dance House Lefkosia is dedicated to bringing people closer to art and culture through contemporary dance. We create spaces that nurture artistic expression, support the well-being of artists, and develop diverse audiences who can experience the transformative power of dance. We provide training and research-based opportunities that enable artists to develop their practice and explore new creative territories. Through presentations, educational programs, and community engagement, we foster a vibrant dance ecosystem that connects local and international practitioners while making contemporary dance accessible to all communities in Cyprus.
