Structure of the organization :The General Assembly consists of 45 effective members, and the Board of Directors consists of 7 members, three women and four men, and then the Executive Director (Executive Secretary, Legal Adviser, Department of Public Relations and Fundraising, Department of Evaluation, Accountability and Learning), Administrative and Financial Director, Director of Programs (Five programmes: Community Rehabilitation Programme, Mobilization and Advocacy Programme, Shelter and Day Care Programme, Academic and Vocational Programme, Medical Rehabilitation Programme) The number of employees is 122 basic employees, 23 volunteers with a total of 145 employees, the average annual budget is approximately $500,000, and the sources are Hamad Bin Foundation Jassim in Qatar, Islamic Relief, Natuf Association for Environment and Community Development, Lovers of Gaza Malaysia, Aman Palestine Malaysia Association, Gazi Destek, Modalities of action (concrete projects), Main partners involved in the organization's projects:Hamad Bin Foundation Jassim in Qatar, Islamic Relief, Natuf Association for Environment and Community Development, Lovers of Gaza Malaysia, Aman Palestine Malaysia Association, Gazi DestekMission and Objectives
Seeking for a safe environment that provides integrated habilitation care for persons with disabilities from the stage of providing alternative family to those who have lost their hosting families to the stages of providing special education, vocational training, habilitation and inclusion programs to improve the standard of life of persons with disabilities and develop their abilities in accordance with the WHO-approved community habilitation matrix.Main Projects / Activities
1. Providing shelter (hosting) and care services for people with different disabilities. 2. Supporting and strengthening medical and physical habilitation services for people with disabilities through occupational therapy, speech, hearing, and physical therapy 3. Providing social and psychological habilitation services for people with disabilities. 4. Providing education services for people with disabilities. 5. Enhancing the integration of persons with disabilities in the vocational training program to develop skills that enhance their chances of employment and self-reliance. 6. Enhancing the sensitivity of the local community and decision-makers on disability issues through mobilization, lobbying, advocacy and advocacy activities.How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
1-The need to communicate the voice of this vulnerable group of persons with disabilities to the whole world and to mobilize and advocate for their right to a decent life, just like people without disabilities. 2-Supporting the association's programs in order to support it in achieving steadfastness and absorbing the largest possible number of people with intellectual disabilities. 3-Building the capacity of the association's cadres in all possible fields in order to develop and keep pace with international expertise in this field.Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
