Sandra Rodrigues is an educator and legal consultant specialising in conflict resolution through mediation and non-violent communication. Having lived in several countries, she has developed strong intercultural competence and a solid commitment to promoting intercultural dialogue and cooperation. Her work focuses on strengthening active citizenship, social inclusion and empathy, contributing to the development of more cohesive, peaceful and participatory societies.
Mission and Objectives
To promote intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and active citizenship through education, community engagement and collaborative initiatives.
Main Projects / Activities
To promote peace education through non-violent communication, encouraging intercultural dialogue, empathy and the building of more conscious and inclusive relationships.
To develop non-violent communication skills in educational and community contexts.
To foster empathy, active listening and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
To support the socio-emotional development of young people and adults.
To promote intercultural dialogue and respect for diversity.
To contribute to more inclusive, collaborative and sustainable communities.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
I can contribute to the Network by promoting intercultural dialogue and social cohesion through education and nonviolent communication practices. I aim to organize workshops, training sessions, and community activities to build empathy, active listening, and constructive conflict resolution, particularly among young people.
I am also interested in collaborating with local organizations, schools, and community groups to develop inclusive educational initiatives and awareness campaigns. Additionally, I can support the dissemination of the Network’s values and activities through communication and outreach, helping to strengthen connections at both local and international levels.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
Because I believe in the power of dialogue, empathy, and education to bring people together. My interest in nonviolent communication aligns closely with these values. I would love to connect with others, share experiences, and contribute to building more inclusive and peaceful communities.
