Menna foundation for development is an NGO. The foundation consists of a mixture of a group of young people and others with extensive experience in field work. This team gathered together with one desire that is community service and hard work.
Despite its recent registration, the foundation exerted great efforts and many activities to serve the community depening on self-financing through donations and cooperation with local NGOs.
Menna Foundation for development was established in Mesaha neighborhood, Faisal in Giza governorate. This area a densely populated area of the poor who suffer from poverty, marginalization and violence. Majority of them came from Upper Egypt escaping marginalization and illiteracy.
Menna foundation has been working since 2008, entitled "the Arab group for training" , then we regularized our registration in October 2013 at the ministry of social solidarity under the number 5182.
Mission and Objectives
Vision:
Towards a society equal in rights and duties, able to cope with the problems and find solutions to them.
Mission:
Bringing about positive change for marginalized groups in society to get the rights of the individual without discrimination on the basis of religion, race or gender.
Objectives:
-develop the skills and capabilities of people with special needs
-work to combat violence against women and children and work to empower them and against traders in human beings
- Care and development capabilities of the target groups socially, culturally and healthy
-Participate in finding real solutions to the problems faced by marginalized groups such as women, children and young people
Provide services and social assistance.-
-care of the family and childhood and motherhood
- Health education.
- Economic empowerment for marginalized women.
Main Projects / Activities
-develop and establish Kindergarten.
- Establish and caring communication centers, learning difficulties and behavior modification.
- Qualification for the job market and open the different work areas.
-the provision of services and miscellaneous aid.
-Activities and concerts and recreational trips for the child.
Scientific seminars, cultural and religious studies and research.-
-literacy and continuing education.
- discuss the laws and legislation and attempt to develop or develop alternatives.
-Combat corruption and increase transparency.

We will work on promoting the activities of the ALF Network and help in emblementing its activities.
