Moral Diplomat is a non-governmental association (based in Daruvar, Croatia) that has operated for 8 years informally and 2.5 formally in Croatia and internationally, focusing on supporting young people and others. This is done through mentoring, upskilling (training courses, lectures, guidance), empowerment and concrete support in opening business opportunities (opening of companies, socially responsible companies and associations) and their sustainable growth and employment of target groups.
Mission and Objectives
Our vision is that every person regardless of age, gender, race, nationality, status and any other difference can leave their fingerprint in shaping our future and the future of future generations. This is possible through activism, cooperation, mutual learning, inclusion and networking of all stakeholders and different institutions and organisations worldwide, ultimately leading to systemic changes.
As an ambitious organisation that strives to foster dialogue and sustainable and solidary changes by bringing together different stakeholders and encouraging them to give their talents and enthusiasm to society, we serve as key promoters of projects responsible for visibility (in the dissemination and communication of the project cycle) and sustainability (in exploiting the results and continuously monitoring the possibility of upscaling the project idea).
Main Projects / Activities
We are the initiators and organisers of the roundtables on the specific topics, including the intercultural and interreligious dialogue, UN Sustainable Development Goals implementation, cultural and creative engagements, active and responsible citizenship, and many others.
As the organisation, we are carrying out several Erasmus+ projects in this area with the main but not exclusive priority of Supporting innovation and entrepreneurial skills of students (KA2 - Cooperation partnerships for innovation and the exchange of good practices).
•SPEED: KA201 - Strategic Partnerships for school education
•YOU(th)App: KA220-YOU - Cooperation partnerships in youth
•GEAR UP!: KA220-SCH - Cooperation partnerships in school education Starting in October 2024 we will be implementing the GEAR UP! project focused on the orientation and guidance of students through the talent centers.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We will enrich the community with the variety of talents, expertise, perspectives, and fields we cover. Since we already belong to different multilevel communities, we will continue building on previous achievements and leverage our contacts and trustworthy collaborations.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We are always exploring new ways to expand our collaborations, so we found the Anna Lindh Foundation appealing to our mission and next strategic objectives. Also, we would like to leverage on the experience and great achievements we have from the joint projects in the culture and heritage, but not only.
