International House Tartu is independent non-governmental organization that works in community building and social cohesion, decreasing intergroup stereotyping, stigmatizing and xenophopbia in Estonia. We do so through creating intercultural connections in the community, through arts and education (including teacher trainings), and through our social enterprise (giving refugees and other vulnerable groups a chance to get on the labour market). In addition, we are also often involved in hybrid initiatives that entail applied research and hands-on activities.Mission and Objectives
