General Information

Mubadroon Organization was established in 2014 as a youth-driven initiative focused on raising awareness, promoting volunteerism, and empowering young people to take on entrepreneurial roles within their communities through intergenerational collaboration. We actively engage with community elders who bring valuable experience across various fields. Their insights help us preserve and share our community's story and narrative, and they also provide guidance in areas such as placemaking and agriculture.

Mission and Objectives

1.Promote Intergenerational Collaboration
Foster meaningful partnerships between youth and community elders to exchange knowledge, preserve cultural narratives, and strengthen community identity.

2.Empower Youth Through Entrepreneurship and Volunteerism
Encourage young people to take initiative in community development by supporting entrepreneurial projects and organizing impactful volunteer activities.

3.Enhance Community Resilience Through Local Expertise
Utilize the experience of community elders to guide sustainable practices in areas like placemaking and agriculture, contributing to long-term community well-being.

Main Projects / Activities

1. Revitalize Public Spaces Through Community-Led Placemaking
Address neglected or problematic areas in the community by engaging youth and consulting with elders to co-design vibrant, inclusive social spaces that encourage community interaction and active use.
2. Promote Intergenerational Storytelling Through Media and Podcasts
Facilitate dialogue between youth and elders by producing podcasts that capture local history, personal stories, and traditional knowledge. This intergenerational exchange fosters deeper understanding of humanity, sustainability, and cultural identity while building media skills among youth.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

As Mubadroon Organization, we can contribute to the Network in our country by:

Facilitating Intergenerational Collaboration Models
We offer practical experience in designing community projects where youth and elders work together. We can share our approaches, tools, and lessons learned with other organizations to inspire similar collaborations.

Sharing Local Knowledge Through Media
Through our podcast and storytelling initiatives, we document and broadcast community histories and sustainable practices. We can use these platforms to highlight local voices and connect them to national or regional narratives.

Supporting Community-Led Placemaking
We can contribute our experiences in transforming underused public spaces through youth-elder cooperation, offering case studies, strategies, and peer support to other members of the Network.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

We are eager to join the ALF Network because we believe that building a better society begins with openness, dialogue, and cooperation.
Through our work at Mubadroon Organization, we aim to strengthen partnerships and expand collaboration with like-minded organizations. We see the ALF Network as a vital platform to engage in intercultural dialogue, exchange ideas, and contribute to the development of a more inclusive, human-centered society. By participating, we hope to both share our experiences and learn from others across the Mediterranean and beyond.
