Musicians Without Borders is a non-profit organisation that started in 2009, following an initiative by Anna-Lena Engström.
The purpose of the association is to create, through artistic means, dialogues beyond ethnic, cultural, religious and political boundaries.
Mission and Objectives
The organisation operates on the belief that culture is an essential part of everyone’s life and that music is a universal language that everyone can understand and be moved by. Music builds bridges, fosters meaningful dialogue, and provides people with life-affirming tools and inspiration. Research also shows that music enhances psychosocial qualities in people, such as improved listening skills, greater flexibility, increased understanding, and empathy.

2026 - The Musical of MARIA MAGDALENA at Trosa Church on May 24, 2026.
2025 - CHOIR TRIP TO SPAIN. Several members of our association traveled with other choir singers to Torredembarra, Spain, to sing with the local church choir.
2024 - LOVERS OF THE NIGHT – Concert Version at Balder in Nynäshamn.
2023 - The folk play *VÄRMLÄNNINGARNA* at Nynäshamn’s Local History Museum.
2023 - LOVERS OF THE NIGHT - concert version of the musical at Kungholmen Parish Hall.
