NGO Natura was established on 25th June 2002 with the mission to address ecological problems in the region, through concrete field actions and public advocacy processes. NGO Natura has three full-time employees, plus a number of occasional collaborators. Annual budgets of NGO Natura range from 10,000.00 to 50,000.00 EUR UNDP, USAID, Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), Ministry for Spatial Planning and Environment, Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Montenegro… Partners: Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment Municipalities of Kolasin, Mojkovac, Plav Faculty of Economy in Podgorica, Faculty’s Department of Management in Bijelo Polje, Ministry of Tourism, Institute for Nature Protection of Montenegro, Natural History Museum, Institute of Biotechnology, National Park “Biogradska GoraMission and Objectives
The vision of the NGO Natura is: Unspoiled nature in the heart of Montenegro. Let's make that possible. The mission of the NGO Natura is: Through the implementation of programs for raising awareness, by helping other NGOs, as well as trough the promotion of sustainable development, NGO Natura aims to encourage the active participation of individuals in the process of making decisions about the development of the region and especially in protecting and improving the environment. NGO Natura working in Economic Growt Project (leading by CHF/USAID) in the Kolasin and Mojkovac as Key Implementing Partners (KIPs) Center for Sustainable Development Promotion.
