In 2025, the Uppsala-based Nej-lika Youth Association strengthened its efforts to empower youth and adults through inclusive projects, focusing on labor market integration (UAK-Levling/ISA-Levling), creative arts, and educational support. The organization continued to foster safety and engagement through workshops, social spaces, and strategic partnerships with local authorities and NGOs, with all efforts supported by external evaluation.

"During 2025, our core activities included:
Labor Market Initiatives: UAK-Levling and ISA-Levling – interactive games teaching labor market rights and social regulations to adults and asylum seekers.
Performing Arts: Fantasi Teater and the upcoming Fantasia project – providing theater and dance training for youth.
Educational Support: Homework assistance, digital workshops ('Starta Sajt'), and study circles for parents.
Social Forums: Weekly 'Girls' Nights' and 'Boys' Hangouts', providing safe spaces for dialogue and mentorship.
Societal Outreach: Nej-lika Forum for networking and workshops focused on anti-discrimination and crime prevention."
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Nej-lika can contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation Network in Sweden by:
Sharing Expertise in Integration: We can contribute our proven methodologies for labor market integration and social inclusion, such as our interactive 'Levling' games, which help newcomers navigate Swedish society.
Cultural Collaboration: We offer a strong platform for theater and dance, and can partner with other network members on intercultural performing arts projects that empower youth through creative expression.
Grassroots Outreach: With our established social forums ('Girls' Nights' and 'Boys' Hangouts') and local presence in Uppsala, we can help bridge the gap between policy discussions and the everyday reality of young people in our community.
Knowledge Exchange: We are eager to participate in and host workshops, sharing insights on combating discrimination and promoting digital competence among youth, while also learning from other members' best practices.
Strengthening Local Partnerships: By involving our network of local partners (such as Sensus, Region Uppsala, and the Anti-Discrimination Bureau), we can broaden the reach and impact of the Swedish ALF network's initiatives.

We wish to join the Anna Lindh Foundation Network to:
