Participatory methodology specialist and trainer with 10+ years of experience designing and leading multi-stakeholder consultations, policy co-creation processes, and capacity-building programmes across Europe, MENA, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. I have worked extensively with intergovernmental organisations including the Council of Europe and EU institutions, as well as public institutions, faith-led networks, and civil society platforms. I hold certified expertise in research ethics, informed consent, and safeguarding, and bring grounded experience in interfaith dialogue and values-based participation. Currently completing a PhD in Development Studies at SOAS University of London and a Fulbright–Schuman Fellow alumna of Harvard University.
Mission and Objectives
To advance equitable participation, intercultural dialogue, and social justice through participatory research, capacity-building, and knowledge exchange. I work to ensure that marginalised communities — including youth, minorities, and faith-led networks — have meaningful agency in policy processes at local, national, and international levels, and that international knowledge and experience is brought back to strengthen local practice.
Main Projects / Activities
Designing and delivering participatory training, research, and facilitation across Europe, MENA, Africa, Asia, and Latin America; policy co-creation and advocacy with the Council of Europe and EU institutions; media and information literacy programmes including the Media4Change project (Lithuania), for which I contributed a community article "COP28 baigėsi, miškų naikinimas Lietuvoje tęsiasi"; interfaith and intercultural dialogue forums across the Euro-Mediterranean region; climate justice and youth participation initiatives at COP27 and COP28; and the Greening the Youth Sector sustainability initiative developed with the EU–Council of Europe Youth Partnership.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
My primary contribution to the ALF Network in Lithuania would be bringing international experience and knowledge back to the local level. Having worked across Europe, MENA, Africa, Asia, and Latin America — including with the Council of Europe, the EU, the African Union, and at UN climate conferences — I can further advance Lithuanian civil society actors' connections to broader Euro-Mediterranean dialogues and international policy processes. I specialise in participatory research and facilitation, and can offer practical capacity-building support grounded in methodologies tested across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. I am also well positioned to further advance cooperation with international partners, drawing on established relationships with civil society networks, intergovernmental organisations, and faith-led platforms across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
Having spoken at the Anna Lindh Foundation's side event at COP27 on socioeconomic challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean region, I witnessed first-hand the Foundation's commitment to fostering meaningful intercultural dialogue across a diverse and politically complex region. Joining the Network would allow me to build on that encounter — familiarising myself with activities at a national level, benefiting from the opportunities, resources, and networking the Network provides, contributing my expertise in participatory research, youth empowerment, and interfaith engagement.
