Founded in 2021, Offbeat operates across Lebanon with a mission to create opportunities that foster leadership, resilience, and community engagement, all while addressing key global challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mission and Objectives
Offbeat is a dynamic and innovative non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to empowering youth and women through holistic and sustainable programs that drive personal, social, and professional growth.
Main Projects / Activities
The key activities fall under the umbrella of the following:
Community Engagement:
•Promote volunteerism and youth-led community service initiatives.
•Educate communities on civic participation and leadership.
•Build networks for youth and women leaders to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
•Equip youth and women to use digital tools for advocacy and social impact.
Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 Projects:
•Facilitate cross-cultural exchange and collaboration through arts, democracy, sustainability initiatives, digital transformation, and community leadership programs.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Partnering with Local NGOs: Identifying established Lebanese NGOs working in our focus areas and collaborating instead of competing so we can amplify the impact through partnerships.
Artistic and Cultural Initiatives: Using creative platforms like art, music, or theater for reconciliation, youth empowerment, or storytelling.
Hosting networking events, organizing workshops, roundtables, or conferences to strengthen collective problem-solving.
