OSAED is an independent, non-political, non-governmental, social, development, charitable and humanitarian association concerned with building the human being and activating the energies of the individual and society to achieve self-sufficiency. OSAED is activist in the fields of humanitarian aid and economic empowerment who focuses her work on developing the skills and capabilities of young men and women to improve their living conditions. OSAED contributes to alleviating the suffering of the targeted communities through humanitarian, charitable and developmental projects and programs, and is committed to providing humanitarian aid to the poor, needy, and invisible families, and empowering local communities through the implementation of long-term projects, finding durable solutions, and disseminating values, science and useful skills. The main sources of funding are through Erasmus+ projects (EU fund). Our vision: Living in a society where the basic needs of vulnerable groups are met, and where peace, love and respect for human rights are prevalent Our mission: Promoting human values by combating poverty and empowering women and youth in the educational, developmental and professional fields to bring about social change in the lifestyle of vulnerable groups to enhance their role in society Our goals: • Responding to the humanitarian and emergency needs of vulnerable communities and fighting poverty, famine and malnutrition in the world. • Empowering youth, women and other marginalized groups, enhancing their professional capabilities and helping them achieve better social and professional integration through assistance and training services. • Improving the socio-economic status of low-income people through financial and non-financial services and enhancing social entrepreneurship and foster care. • Promote a culture of tolerance and acceptance of others, and work to protect human rights and promote peace • Combating the main problems in society such as drugs, racism and violence. • Implementing prevention, protection, support, support and integration measures for people with difficulties (children, youth, women, people with needs, people suffering from social exclusion, the elderly, etc.). • Promote and finance national and international projects for economic, social, environmental and cultural development. • Preserving and promoting sustainable, environmentally sound, socially equitable and economically viable agriculture; Supporting local farmers willing to participate in environmentally friendly production. • Disseminating and raising awareness and working on environmental issues and challenges resulting from emergencies, climate change, and the utilization of natural resources and biological diversity. • Strengthening measures to achieve sustainable development goals. • Promote national and international volunteering.Main Projects / Activities
OSAED implements many projects throughout the last years: OSAED has started, as an applicant, the implementation of an Erasmus+ KA153-YOU “Mobility for youth workers” entitled: "Let's Build Youth's Competences for Inclusion". The goal of the project is to raise the quality of youth work in the international environment through exchange of practices and tools. The preparatory visit and the first phase of the project were implemented in Marseille and were very successful. The second one will be in Lebanon in September 2024. • Partnered in KA153-YOU project entitled: "Story sharing: a booklet for narrative identity and dialogue" which held in Italy in June 2024 with Sconfinando APS NGO as applicant. • Partnered in a KA152-YOU about entrepreneurship in Portugal in May 2023 with PROACTING - Associação para a Promoção do Empreendedorismo e Empregabilidade. • Partnered " with Chabibeh Sporting Club on a project entitled "Gender Equality through Sports" implemented in Lebanon in 2023 as part of a consortium in partnership with IECD and funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Government of the Principality of Monaco. • Partnered in a KA153-YOU project in Hungary in 2023 about planning and management in youth work and youth exchange activities with TIA NGO as applicant. • Did various language courses to promote French among international students and support their learning process. • Did Humanitarian Aid after the Beirut port blast through an online fundraising campaign;
