The Association's main activities aim to produce solutions and create projects for access to quality education, cultural diversity, climate change, and environmental problems globally and in Türkiye, primarily focusing on Uşak and the Aegean Region. With this goal, the Association works to raise the level of knowledge and enhance awareness of solidarity in society by conducting research for action and developing culture-oriented studies led by youth, as well as national and international projects for the realization of research findings. To this end, the Association aims to organize educational activities such as seminars, conferences, and panels on determined subjects; conduct studies on environmental and natural events affecting Türkiye and the world; raise awareness of ecological events through seminars, events, digital communication campaigns, congresses, and conferences; provide financial and moral support; and conduct academic research on international cultural relations and digital design and production studies.
Mission and Objectives
Subjects and Methods of Work to be Carried Out by the Association
1-To conduct research for the activation and development of its activities and to provide scholarships for the realization of these researches,
2- Organizing training activities such as courses, seminars, conferences and panels,
3- To provide all kinds of information, documents, documents and publications necessary for the realization of the purpose, to create a documentation center, to publish publications such as newspapers, magazines, books and bulletins in line with its objectives in order to announce its activities, to establish digital broadcasting organs,
4- To provide a healthy working environment for the realization of the purpose, to provide all kinds of technical tools and equipment, fixtures and stationery materials,
5- To carry out fundraising activities and accept donations from within and outside the country, provided that the necessary permissions are obtained,
6- To establish and operate economic, commercial and industrial enterprises in order to provide the revenues it needs for the realization of the objectives of the Statute,
7- To open a clubhouse, to establish and furnish social and cultural facilities for the benefit of its members and to make use of their free time,
8- To organize dinner meetings, concerts, balls, theaters, exhibitions, fairs, museums, sports, excursions and fun events, etc. in order to develop and maintain human relations among its members or to ensure that members and volunteers benefit from such events,
9- To purchase, sell, lease, rent, lease out the movable and immovable properties needed for the activities of the Association and to establish real rights on immovable properties,
10- If deemed necessary for the realization of the purpose, to establish foundations in Turkey and abroad, to establish federations, confederations or to join an existing federation, to establish facilities that associations can establish by obtaining the necessary permission,
11- To engage in international activities, to become a member of associations or organizations abroad and to cooperate or cooperate with these organizations.
Main Projects / Activities
Since its establishment, the Association has produced culture, education and climate-oriented projects and participated in many studies involving UNDP SGP Türkiye, TÜBİTAK, Uşak Municipality, Uşak Provincial Directorate of National Education, Ted University, Anadolu University, Ege University, Ostim Technical University, Başkent University and many local institutions. Finally, we have become the leading stakeholder in the European Union K210 project application and continue to negotiate with the National Agency for the project application involving Luxembourg, Estonia and Portugal.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We have members with very strong ties with universities, local governments, other non-governmental organizations and ministries in Turkey. In this context, we have realized projects that reached thousands of people with small budgets in a short time and had significant visibility in the media. Thanks to our team and our network, we will contribute to anyone who wants to do projects in our country.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We have carried out many joint projects with Our Common Future and Mr. Philippe Ternes within ALF Network. ALF is an organization that we would like to be a part of with its network, many successful projects and organizational structure. We have a strong team that wants to realize international projects in Uşak, Aegean Region and Turkey. In this context, we have the potential to offer a strong cooperation to other institutions and organizations in the ALF Network.
