General Information

Our Youth Home Foundation was established in 2019 as an independent, non-profit youth-led civil society organization. It works to empower young people — both young men and women — in Palestine by developing their skills and capacities across various fields that contribute to building a more just and cohesive society.

The foundation focuses on promoting democratic participation and human rights, fostering gender equality, and supporting the active participation of women and girls in public, political, economic, and social life. It strives to provide safe spaces and open environments where young people can be active agents of positive change through supporting their community initiatives and entrepreneurial programs.

Our Youth Home Foundation also works to strengthen a culture of peace and social cohesion by launching programs and purposeful dialogues that promote coexistence, mutual respect, and peaceful conflict resolution.

The foundation places special emphasis on developing youth leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility through projects in the fields of democracy, human rights, social accountability, non-formal education, economic empowerment, and psychosocial support — all contributing to building an aware generation capable of driving change.

Since its establishment, the foundation has successfully mobilized more than 550 young men and women from across the Palestinian governorates to work together through volunteer and training programs that help build their capacities and strengthen their role as key partners in sustainable development.
