Pal-Think for Strategic Studies is an independent non-profit think and do tank that aims to stimulate and inspire rational public discussions and consensus for the well-being of the Palestinians. Pal-Thinks work is structured around a dual focus on 1) in-depth research and 2) civic society empowerment through project work; this way Pal-Think aims to give a clear platform for constructive debate and dialogue and to produce up to date research relevant of the Palestinian cause and the situation in the Middle East. There are multiple Palestinian and international researchers, authors, politicians and activists connected to Pal-think and its work. Up to now, some of Pal-Thinks main priorities have been to conduct research about the reconstruction of Gaza as well as the reconciliation- and peace processes of sustaining a shared Palestinian unit, both politically, geographically and socio-economically. A great effort has also been placed on actively engaging the young Palestinian population in meaningful political work and empowering them to take part in the civic life in Gaza.
Mission and Objectives
Pal-Think believes in the power of the Palestinian civil society, and it aims to qualify the general public debate in Palestine through empowering the voice and capacity of the Palestinian people. Through a dual focus on research and civic empowerment, it is the mission of Pal-Think, not only to give the Palestinian people a voice, but also to give them tools to take power over their own lives and to be an active part in changing the situation in Palestine to develop a united and democratic Palestinian society.
Main Projects / Activities
1- Enhancing CSOs' Capacities in Democracy and Civic Education: A training program aimed at strengthening the skills of 25 civil society workers in democracy and civic education, fostering a more informed and engaged community.
2-Research and Publications: Pal-Think conducts and publishes research on critical issues affecting Palestinian society, such as climate change repercussions, irregular migration, and the impact of prolonged political division. These publications aim to inform policymakers and the public, contributing to evidence-based decision-making.
3- Policy-Making Lab: A program designed to train mid-level staff from community-based organizations in policy analysis, effective policy paper writing, advocacy, and lobbying. The goal is to empower civil society organizations to influence policy agendas and promote evidence-based recommendations.

Pal-Think for Strategic Studies, as an independent, non-profit think tank, is committed to promoting dialogue, civic engagement, and policy development to strengthen Palestinian civil society. As a member of the Anna Lindh Foundation Network, Pal-Think can contribute in the following ways:
Promoting Intercultural Dialogue & Knowledge Exchange:
Organizing roundtable discussions, policy forums, and public debates that foster dialogue between different cultural and social groups.

Facilitating cross-cultural exchange programs that connect Palestinian youth with peers across the Mediterranean region.

Conducting in-depth research on issues such as political reform, economic development, digital transformation, and civic engagement.
Producing policy papers and recommendations that contribute to informed decision-making at both national and regional levels.
Through these contributions, Pal-Think aims to enrich the Anna Lindh Foundation Network with innovative perspectives, policy-driven solutions, and impactful civic initiatives that foster regional cooperation and mutual understanding.
