Having immigrated to the Netherlands, his Focus shifted towards the reality of migration in Europe, due to that shocking reality the urgency to found PATH14 was born, a Platform that not only pushes news and coverage, but also gives space to the human struggle through the migration journey to be told. Discovering stories that were meant to be hidden, building a collective by the migrant storytellers and influencing and changing this misleading narrative that has been weaponized against migrants all over the planet.

Mission and Objectives

At Path14, we envision a world where migration -particularly across the Mediterranean- is met with compassion, understanding, and respect. As a platform created by and for migrants, we focus on telling the real stories behind migration, from the places people leave to the struggles they face on arrival.
We do this by providing a truthful, transparent, and interactive space for discussing the realities of migration.
investigating the routes, the reasons and the cause from its source, as a core issue not as a side-effect, instead of focusing solely on what happens within the EU borders.
Humanize the immigrant experience by telling stories through the eyes of migrants.
Address the hard questions and encourage the audience to take actions and contribute to changing harmful narratives.

Main Projects / Activities

- Produce high-quality visual and artistic content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Capacity building through educational interactive formats, enabling migrants to bring their storiesideas to life through supporting them in the production and post-production processes.
- Collaborate with media makers and partners to strengthen the media network linked to migrants in Europe, to build a strong network that helps bring the migration issue to every country in Europe, from international media coverage to domestic media outlets, activists and citizen journalists.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

As a migrant-led platform based in the Netherlands, Path14 can contribute to the ALF Network by offering a unique perspective grounded in lived experience, diaspora identity, and deep ties to the Mediterranean region. We bring a creative and investigative media approach that challenges harmful narratives and amplifies underrepresented voices especially those of migrants, refugees, and displaced communities. In the Dutch context, we can help bridge the gap between institutional discourse and grassroots realities through accessible, multilingual content and partnerships with local cultural and activist networks. We also support capacity-building by training and mentoring emerging migrant storytellers, helping them navigate media production, advocacy, and public engagement.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

We want to join the Anna Lindh Foundation Network because we believe in its mission to strengthen dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding across the Euro-Mediterranean region. As a migrant-led media platform based in the Netherlands, Path14 aims to bridge our work with other media makers, artists, and grassroots organizations across the Mediterranean and beyond. We see the ALF Network as a vital space to connect with others who share our commitment to inclusive storytelling, intercultural dialogue, and social justice. By joining, we hope to exchange knowledge, collaborate on creative projects, and build lasting relationships between Europe and the Mediterranean linking diaspora voices with those still rooted in the region. Our goal is to contribute to a stronger, more connected civil society network to help build a narratives that reflects the complexity, diversity, and shared struggles of our communities.
