Peeshi ry is a Finland-based non-profit organization focused on animal welfare, child protection, family support, education, and community development.
Our organization works to strengthen the relationship between humans and animals while also supporting children and families through educational, social, and community-based activities. We believe that compassionate communities are built through empathy, responsibility, inclusion, and strong family values.
Peeshi ry combines three main pillars in its work:
* Animal welfare and rescue
* Child protection and youth support
* Family strengthening and social well-being
We organize awareness campaigns, educational activities, family events, volunteer programs, and long-term community projects that promote social harmony and positive development for future generations.
Our goal is to create safe environments where children, families, and animals can thrive together while encouraging compassion, cooperation, and community responsibility both locally and internationally.
Mission and Objectives
Peeshi ry is a Finnish non-profit organization dedicated to protecting animals, supporting children and families, and strengthening the bond between humans and animals through education, rescue work, and community activities.
Our mission is to create a safer, more compassionate society where animals are treated with respect and children grow up learning empathy, responsibility, and kindness toward all living beings.
We also work to support child protection, strengthen families, and promote family stability and continuity, believing that a safe and loving family environment is essential for the healthy development of future generations. We believe that the presence, care, and emotional support of both parents play a fundamental role in a child’s well-being, emotional security, and future success.
Peeshi ry connects three important pillars together:

Through these combined efforts, we aim to help build happier families, healthier communities, and a brighter future for the next generations.

* Animal rescue and temporary shelter support
* Educational visits and activities for children and schools

* Development of a new Peeshi ry center in Lieto for animal care and children’s activities

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Peeshi ry can contribute to the ALF Network in Finland by building bridges between cultures and communities through activities focused on children, families, and animal welfare.
We organize educational and community-based activities that promote empathy, social responsibility, inclusion, and dialogue between people from different backgrounds. Through our work with children and families, we aim to strengthen social cohesion and encourage positive community engagement.
