Mission and Objectives

Mission: Support Brazilian immigrants in Portuguese national territory. Goals: Develop social, recreational and cultural activities; Act in defense of your interests; Promote activities to value and preserve Brazilian culture; Collaborate in the construction of full and participatory citizenship in cohesion with Brazilian society.

Main Projects / Activities

- Bimonthly cinema meeting - Cultural heritage of humanity, value, educate and integrate Portuguese-Brazilian communities. - Companheiros@Brazil and Portugal Network to promote political, cultural, educational, economic and environmental actions among Portuguese-Brazilian communities. - Brazil-Portugal Association Summit and Week for Science, Technology and Innovation. - International Relations in promoting seminars on the importance of the Brazilian consulate and the Portuguese government in mutual support for Brazilian immigrants. - Environmental education and sustainability in partnership with Ecomuseum of Rates, Portugal, and Basic Education Schools. - Walking around Porto: Walking activities outside the Porto tourist circuit, aimed at appropriating the territory, reflecting on the local reality and combating a sedentary lifestyle. - Gatherings: Meet Portuguese poets in meetings with poetry readings, biographical presentation to contextualize their work and the historical moment. - Cultural Fairtrade in a space for exchanging merchandise, culture and experiences. Stimulate entrepreneurship and financial autonomy. - Portuando embroidery to promote meetings for integration and socialization. - English lessons and practical classes for job seekers whose English language is a main factor. - Entrepreneurship and local development center to support immigrants. - Information and Education Center for FES - Ethical and Social Finance to support immigrants. - Portuando Library with books from donations to be loaned to members.

Fight intolerance towards immigrants and promote inclusion, socialization and cultural exchange between Brazil and Portugal.
