General Information

The organization is governed by a board of three members and a president. It does not have full-time staff, except when projects are in progress.
The annual budget is approximately 5,000 euros, primarily funded through project-based grants from both local and international donors.
The organization has successfully implemented several projects, including those supported by the Ministry of Culture of Albania. The most recent project, “Education of Children through Fest-Folk” (Edition 3), concluded in September 2024.
Additionally, we have engaged in exchange programs with similar organizations in North Macedonia and Kosovo.
Key partners involved in our projects include Librazhd Municipality, the Children’s Cultural Center, and private donors.

Mission and Objectives

Our mission is to empower and improve the quality of life in the district of Librazhd by implementing sustainable social and cultural projects that promote art, cultural heritage, education, environmental sustainability, and community well-being.
Objectives: Encourage the exchange of knowledge, traditions, and artistic expressions to strengthen regional identity. Support the preservation of traditional arts, crafts, and folklore while integrating modern approaches to heritage management. Utilize arts and heritage as tools for education, inclusion, and social development. Develop strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, institutions, and artists across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Participate in joint projects, training programs, and policy discussions to contribute to the cultural sector’s growth and sustainability. Promote funding opportunities and investment in the cultural sector to ensure long-term impact.

- Polyphony of the Shkumbin Valley (2017)

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We can contribute to the ALF Network in our country by promoting its mission through our projects, fostering collaboration among civil society actors, and enhancing visibility through local and international partnerships. Our work in cultural heritage, education, and sustainability will strengthen the Network’s impact, facilitate knowledge exchange, and engage diverse communities in meaningful dialogue and cooperation.
