The Rotaract Club of the University of Nicosia is dedicated to meaningful community service and fostering collaborations that bring positive change. Our commitment is evident through several impactful projects, including our tree planting initiatives aimed at addressing environmental challenges locally. By organizing tree planting events, we not only contribute to reforestation efforts but also educate the community on environmental sustainability and promote active participation in preserving our natural resources. In addition to our environmental initiatives, we are proud of our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Friends Foundation. Together, we support and organize events such as the second Geri Olympics in Cyprus. This initiative provides elderly individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia an opportunity to engage in physical activities tailored to their needs, fostering mental stimulation and social interaction. These events are crucial in enhancing their quality of life and raising awareness about dementia-related issues in our community. How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
