General Information

Saksham (formerly KK Entertainments) is a Finland-based cultural organisation dedicated to promoting Indian performing arts, wellbeing, especially dance and music, for children, adults, and families. We create workshops, performances, and interactive experiences that foster creativity, confidence, and cross-cultural understanding. Our activities emphasize authentic storytelling, rhythm, and movement, connecting people through shared cultural experiences while celebrating diversity and inclusion.

Mission and Objectives

Saksham’s mission is to promote cultural exchange and understanding through Indian dance, music, and storytelling. We aim to create inclusive experiences for children, adults, and families, fostering creativity, confidence, and people-to-people connections across the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Main Projects / Activities

Indian Dance Workshops – Interactive sessions for children, adults, and families, teaching authentic dance steps, rhythm, and storytelling.
Cultural Performances – Live performances in schools, community centres, and festivals showcasing traditional Indian songs and vibrant costumes.

Family & Community Programs – Activities combining music, movement, and storytelling to encourage participation, creativity, and cross-cultural understanding.
Collaborations & Events – Partnered with the City of Vantaa to support children and family cultural activities, and collaborated for the past two years with Kolibri Festival and Ninho Cultural Associations, creating inclusive experiences that connect diverse communities through arts and culture.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

I can contribute by sharing authentic Indian culture through dance, music, and storytelling, as well as workshops for children, adults, and families. I will create opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue, collaborate with other artists and organisations, and participate in ALF initiatives to promote understanding, inclusion, and people-to-people connections across Finland and the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

I want to join the ALF Network to contribute to cross-cultural dialogue by sharing authentic Indian culture, learn from other artists and organisations, and building lasting connections that strengthen understanding and unity across diverse communities.
