SARETAS Governing Board is responsible for the general planning, management and strategy of SARETAS. All the administrative work of SARETAS is taken care of in Head Office by a team of staff and volunteers currently made up of the Managing Director, Communication and Policy Manager, project managers for specific projects, and international and local volunteers. SARETAS is funded mainly by Youth in Action programme of the European Union and the European Youth Foundation.Mission and Objectives
SARETAS objectives To work towards resolving conflicts and promotion of peaceful societies through recognition and respect for others; To promote co-operation and mutual aid in the developed and the developing countries for cultural, educational and social purposes; To strenghten the relationships and promote tolerance among different cultural or political realities; To work together on issues related to protection of the environment and sustainability;Main Projects / Activities
SARETAS maintains activities at regional and international level: Performing detailed studies and research projects; Regional and International youth exchanges and voluntary campaigns; Building capacity and training programs for youth leaders and individuals; Organizing of discussions, seminars, conferences, trainings and cultural meetings
