Sawa' is a non-profit organization works in the field of community development according to scientific methodologies. Sawa'a is implementing programs in all development aspects, which impacts the life of local citizens. In addition to that, Sawa'a is preparing strategies, plans, procedurals guides, policies manuals, and providing consultations in development fields. our vision is Coherent society that is self-respondent and able to define its needs, and priorities.    

Mission and Objectives

A non-profit organization seeks to develop the local communities and build their capacities through scientific methodologies and available tools by qualified human resources taking into account communities needs and priorities according to highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness that deals with accountability tools, transparency and community partnership. Our main Objectives:   -  Community Development with partnership with all community segments. -  Continuous development of methodologies and tools according the different changes. -  Promoting community partnership. -  Youth engagement and women empowerment.. -  Enhancing social cohesion and preventing extremism. -  Enhancing corporate social responsibilities.

Main Projects / Activities

- Capacity Building Program for CSOs in Crisis and DRR, funded by UNDP       - Enhancing Comprehensive Education in host communities, funded by World Bank   - Accountability for Change in Education, funded by Partners Jordan/ World Bank   - Preparing Local Development needs’ Guide for Mafraq’s 6 municipalities, funded by   Partners Jordan/ Spanish Agency for International development Cooperation (aecid)             - Diagnosis and define a set of strategic actions to increase, restore and enhance the green infrastructure and its use in Jerash city, funded by MEDCITIES
