ScioŠkola Holešovice základní is a private school located in Prague district Holešovice. It is a new school starting its second year this September. The school is a part of bigger network of schools - ScioŠkoly/ScioSchools, which date back to 2015.
In Holešovice school there will be around 70 pupils from September 2025 and around 15 staff employed.
We are partly funded by government and partly by scholarship money.
Mission and Objectives
Our mission is to prepare kids for future.
We are alternative school and our curriculum is based on competencies we do believe are important for the future.
Main Projects / Activities
We do aim to set a new standard for curriculum - we are currently part of government project, we are in a test group for new curriculum based on competencies.
We educate kids to be a sustainable citizens - we do projects on environment, waste, food cycle, composting etc.
We work on incorporating AI into education.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We can prepare workshops on lessons or activities based on competencies.
We can prepare workshops on lessons on AI in education or AI in general.
We can prepare workshops on sustainability.
There are many topics we are eager to share.
