I am an advocate for immigrant rights and social equity based in Finland, actively working to address systemic challenges faced by internationals in the workplace and society. My work involves public speaking, online advocacy, and facilitating dialogue to promote inclusion, cultural understanding, and fairness.
Mission and Objectives
My mission is to foster mutual understanding between diverse communities in Finland, amplify immigrant voices, and challenge societal biases. I aim to bridge gaps in cultural perceptions by creating spaces for dialogue, raising awareness about the contributions of internationals, and advocating for equitable policies. My objectives include empowering immigrants with tools to navigate societal and professional challenges, facilitating workshops to challenge stereotypes, and promoting collaborative efforts to enhance diversity and inclusion in Finland.
Main Projects / Activities
Advocacy and Public Speaking: Delivered impactful speeches, including one that went viral, highlighting the challenges faced by immigrants in Finland. These efforts have resonated with both Finns and the immigrant community, fostering a broader conversation on equity and inclusion.
Workshops and Trainings: Designed and facilitated workshops aimed at addressing unconscious bias, promoting cultural understanding, and building skills to navigate challenges in multicultural environments.
Online Engagement: Actively engaged on platforms like LinkedIn to share insights, advocate for fairness, and challenge discriminatory narratives, creating a ripple effect of positive discourse.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
I can contribute to the ALF Network by leveraging my advocacy experience to promote intercultural dialogue and inclusion. By organizing workshops and events, I can bring together diverse groups to share perspectives and foster understanding. Additionally, I can use my public speaking and communication skills to amplify the ALF Network’s mission, engaging local and international stakeholders to create sustainable impacts. My strong online presence also allows me to disseminate ALF initiatives widely, reaching a broader audience and encouraging participation in intercultural activities.
