General Information

Sigla Eventi is an independent cultural start-up based in Modena, Italy, founded in 2024 by Federico Sigillo and Laura Saracino. The core team is composed of two cultural professionals, supported by a flexible network of collaborators depending on the project. Sigla focuses on co-designed cultural formats that combine live music, participatory events, artistic training, and intercultural dialogue.
Its actions take the form of workshops, artist exchanges, small festivals, and collaborative public programs. The organization actively collaborates with local institutions such as the Centro Musica del Comune di Modena, Associazione Stoff, and various grassroots collectives. The first edition of VORTEX, held in 2024, brought together more than 50 artists and cultural operators, laying the foundation for a methodology based on inclusivity, co-creation, and territorial engagement.

Mission and Objectives

Sigla Eventi’s mission is to foster inclusive cultural ecosystems by connecting emerging artists, collectives, and institutions through collaborative formats. Our goal is to break down the barriers between grassroots creativity and the formal cultural system.
We work to empower independent scenes through live events, co-designed projects, and intercultural exchanges that value participation, dialogue, and shared authorship.
Our objectives include:
– Supporting artistic visibility and professional growth for emerging talent
– Promoting accessible and sustainable cultural practices
– Strengthening local and international networks in the cultural field
– Creating scalable models of collaboration between independent and institutional actors

Main Projects / Activities

Sigla Eventi was founded to formalize a long-standing collaboration between Federico Sigillo and Laura Saracino, two professionals who have worked for years in the production and curation of music festivals, concert series, and cultural events across Northern Italy. Their shared approach is rooted in co-design, local engagement, and support for emerging creative communities.

Sigla’s flagship project is VORTEX, launched in 2024 in Modena: a hybrid format combining live music, artistic networking, and participatory dialogue among artists, institutions, and cultural workers. The event gathered over 50 participants and now serves as a model for future actions.

Other ongoing activities include the co-curation of public music seasons, youth-focused masterclasses, site-specific performances, and experimental events developed in collaboration with municipalities, cultural centers, and independent venues.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Sigla Eventi can contribute to the ALF Network in Italy by acting as a connector between youth-led creative communities and the broader cultural ecosystem. Our work focuses on emerging music scenes, participatory practices, and projects that empower young cultural operators. We develop formats that support co-creation, active citizenship and intercultural dialogue through music and live events. By sharing our experience and activating collaborations, we aim to strengthen the role of youth culture within local and national networks.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

We want to join the ALF Network to connect with like-minded organizations working on youth culture, music, and intercultural exchange across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Being part of the Network would give us the opportunity to share our methods, co-create new projects, and expand our vision of collaborative cultural work. We believe in dialogue as a tool for transformation and see the ALF community as a fertile ground to build long-term partnerships and generate impact beyond borders.
