It is a non-profit civil society association working in the field of (culture, arts - media - community peace - support for democracy and marginalized groups - human rights) since 2009. The association has extensive practical and academic experience as the association was established within Alexandria University and held many projects within the Alexandrian community, whether through self-efforts or in cooperation with various donors. The association is also a member of many Egyptian and international networks and has participated in many events and cultural exchange between the North and South of the Mediterranean with many of the association's youth. The association has also been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Network Anna Lind since 2018.
The association works in specific fields, which are: culture and arts - media - building and making peace - supporting democracy and marginalized groups - international mechanisms for the protection of human rights
The association has sufficient institutional and human capabilities to help achieve its goals.
Mission and Objectives
Centered strategic vision of the association's social media about building a community of media neo who seek to establish a media purposefully based on citizen media who are looking for the truth unhindered and disseminate it through his tools media personal or collective, is also seeking Assembly to contribute to the development of society and try to contribute in solving problems Vision The Society seeks to engage with civil society builders in all its forms at the local level and the Arab and international levels in the areas of media, and community posts. Vision requirements • a media conscious youth • Dealing with technology in a positive way means • instilling a culture of voluntary participation • the combined efforts of all civil society associations
Main Projects / Activities
The Association has presented many projects in various fields
Future Leaders Project in cooperation with Internews Foundation and the Egyptian Ministry of Education to qualify young people for leadership and the use of media tools
Partners project in cooperation with Internews Foundation and civil society institutions to spread the thought of effective citizenship using media tools (press - radio - television - newmedia)
Partners 2 project in cooperation with Egyptian universities to spread the culture of effective citizenship
Cooperation with Erasmus + in cultural exchange in many different projects in the northern and southern Mediterranean countries
Cooperation with Euro Med on projects between the association and associations in the northern Mediterranean
The Society has provided many seminars and workshops to spread the culture of building and making peace
The association worked many workshops and events to protect the environment and protect beaches in Alexandria
The association, in cooperation with the Egyptian Network for Education, organized several workshops on education problems
The Society also cooperated in providing solutions, suggestions and research papers to the Arab Education Network
The association helped establish the Egyptian Union for Community Peace
Participation in reporting to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2010 to 2025 for the Universal Periodic Review of Egypt
Training 50 social workers annually on the mechanisms of dealing with students in schools and the Center for the Support of Persons with Disabilities, dealing with marginalized groups and working to integrate them into society
Providing workshops for women to teach them work and craft and vocational professions
Training young people and craftsmen on small projects
Training young people on entrepreneurship
Provide training manuals to institutions to help them employ persons with disabilities and integrate them into the labor market
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
I can contribute to projects Bashcla and Assembly in a special deal with the Alexandria University students directly and daily as Assembly could train young people to work on the Media and Civil Education of citizen dialogue with each other and other
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
i like to participate in the network so I can identify new projects and I join with the various associations in multiple activities benefit the association and its members also try to benefit other associations
