- The only island high school in Zadar County
- Educates students in the general high school and the occupations of cook and waiter
- It is the only school in the Republic of Croatia that has a training program for the profession of lacemaker (students learn the art of sewing Pag lace, which has been included in UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage since 2009); over the past 30 years, more than 200 participants have attained the profession of lacemaker
- This high school was founded in 1966; it enrolls students from the entire island of Pag (area of two counties, two cities and two municipalities)
- Today, the school has about 100 students, and most of them attend the general high school program
Mission and Objectives
Bartul Kašić High School Pag is the center of educational activity on the island of Pag and an important stakeholder in the culture and preservation of traditional heritage. The school is oriented towards development and quality cooperation and satisfaction of students, teachers and parents.
The school implements modern curricula of all the profiles it educates with the implementation of new curricula for new directions and profiles needed for the labor market. The school will constantly strive to raise standards, high quality education in the gymnasium, professional orientations and adult education (especially lacemaking).
