How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Stichting Ege will actively contribute to the Dutch National Network by sharing knowledge and developing joint projects in the fields of women’s rights, children’s education, and environmental awareness. Furthermore, the foundation will act as a bridge between Turkey and the Netherlands, strengthening intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
As Stichting Ege, we share the vision of the Anna Lindh Foundation in promoting intercultural dialogue, democracy, education, women’s rights, and sustainable development. Our primary motivation to join the network is to make these values more visible and impactful both in the Netherlands and across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
A particular focus of our foundation is on youth participation. Through cultural exchange programs, volunteering projects, and environmental awareness activities, we aim to empower young people to become active citizens. By joining the ALF Network, we seek to create opportunities for young people to meet peers from different cultures, develop joint initiatives, and foster mutual understanding.
At the same time, we want to contribute to the network by working on women’s empowerment, children’s right to education, and the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups. We are eager to share our experiences, learn from other members, and build partnerships that amplify our collective impact.
In short, by joining the ALF Network, our goal is to strengthen civil society cooperation both in the Netherlands and in the wider Euro-Mediterranean region, and to contribute to building a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society through projects that place women and young people at the center.
