Updated Bio – Suha W. Husein

Suha Husein is a communication specialist, journalist, and humanitarian activist with over 20 years of experience in media production, strategic communication, and international partnerships across Palestine, Europe, and the MENA region. She has worked with BBC Media Action, BBC News, Penal Reform International, GIZ, the Representative Office of Denmark, and the Representative Office of Switzerland, leading projects in crisis communication, humanitarian response, cultural strategy, and media development.

Suha currently works as a freelance news producer, contributing to international media coverage from Palestine with a focus on human stories, justice, and resilience under occupation. She also volunteers with a humanitarian initiative for Gaza, supporting psychosocial and educational content for children affected by war.

She holds an MA in Integrated Digital Media from the Arab American University, where her research focused on digital transformation strategies, AI ethics, and the implications of AI in media and communication. She also holds a BA in Radio and Television from Birzeit University. Suha believes in media as a tool of truth-telling and social responsibility, and in protecting the ethical human dimension in an age of accelerating technology.
