Situated in a culturally diverse region, our organization brings together a team of three passionate educators – two English teachers and one Computer Studies teacher – who are committed to addressing a wide range of pressing issues, from adult education and women's rights to student development and cybersecurity and environmental issues. Our members are strongly determined by taking part in different forms of educational projects.
Sunshine Kids' mission is a deep-rooted commitment to fostering mutual collaboration, both within our organization and with like-minded partners from around the world. We firmly believe that by working together, we can amplify our collective impact and drive meaningful change in our communities, while also promoting cultural understanding and diversity.
We believe in the inherent dignity and potential of every woman. Through our initiatives, we aim to promote gender equality, provide access to resources, and empower women to become agents of change in their communities. By investing in women's rights, we are committed to creating a world where every woman can unlock her full intellectual and creative capabilities, contributing to the betterment of their communities and society as a whole.
Sunshine Kids is committed towards expanding educational opportunities, particularly for underserved communities. We will work tirelessly to ensure that every child and young adult has the chance to unlock their full intellectual and creative capabilities. Education is the cornerstone of progress, and we are dedicated to making it accessible to all. By investing in educational initiatives, we aim to empower individuals and communities, paving the way for a brighter future.
SK will invest time in programs and projects that foster leadership, critical thinking, and personal growth and training, equipping the next generation and adults in need with the tools they need to navigate an ever-evolving world. Our youth is the future, our goal is committed to nurturing their potential. Through our initiatives, we aim to provide young people with the resources and support they need to thrive and make a positive impact on their communities.

• organizing cultural events that are based on the fact that language is a bridge to connect different peoples and cultures
• educating people to be active members and participants in civil society
• attending training for members of the association on the topic of inclusion and approaches to teaching students with special educational needs, social disabilities and subsequent dissemination
• education about gender equality through participation in international projects
Sunshine Kids is committed to education, sustainability, and gender equality for the empowerment and inclusion of all. Our annual Lungs of Kichevo – Krushino movement fights against deforestation by mobilizing the community to plant trees, thereby promoting civic engagement in environmental responsibility.

We run educational workshops for youth and adults on green skills, climate awareness, and sustainable living, ensuring accessibility for underserved groups. Our Be Her Voice initiative focuses on supporting survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), advocating for gender equality, and empowering women to reclaim their independence. We also provide free monthly consultations for unemployed women, offering career guidance and support.

This allows us, through our multiculturalism projects, to engage in the creation of cultural exchange and cross-border cooperation, thus fostering community contacts. We integrate sustainability, gender equality, and civic engagement into programs that make society more inclusive, resilient, with a voice for all, where everybody can thrive.

In March 2023 Erasmus+ call we were awarded with a grant for the project “Be Her Voice” together with our partner organizations from Greece and Bulgaria. This project is about Intimate Partner Violence and aims to raise awareness about the victims of IPV.
In 2024 we were awarded with a grant from the Municipality of Kicevo, our home town. The project called “ My colourful city” aims to join the multi ethnic values and traditions of all ethnicities that live in Kicevo, gathering people via different cultures, to raise empathy among people no matter their culture and religion and at the same time to cut down stereotypes as much as possible
At the end of December, we were awarded with another European project, under the leadership of the Macedonian Civil Resource Center. This project is implemented together with the Women’ s Organization “Bitola” from Bitola and it is called” For Menstrual Justice”. The aim of the project is to deal with menstrual poverty on the part of the high school students ( female) by providing available access to education, resources and support.
