The Finnish Muslim Union (Suomen muslimiliitto) is an umbrella organisation for the islamic organisations, communities and societies in Finland. We dont have any employees yet, we are working on the voluntary basis at the moment. We have five member organisations now at the beginning. Our budget is based on voluntary fees.Mission and Objectives
Our purpose is to act as trustee and co-operation forum. To promote and ensure the constitutional rights and equality of Muslims in Finland. Create permanent structures in the service of sustainable development principle. Support the activities of the member organisations and to improve the participation possibilities of the Muslim community in the society.Main Projects / Activities
Peer support activities, preventive approach to child protection within the family. Support activities for young people. Training, seminars and counseling. Service Guidance. Club activities. Interfaith dialogue.
