🎓 1. Education and Child Protection

CVC Charity places education at the heart of its mission, ensuring that every child — regardless of nationality or status — has the right to learn, grow, and dream.
Key Projects:

AMAN School Project (Beqaa – Bar Elias): Provides formal education to over 500 students (Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian) from KG to Grade 10, integrating psychosocial support, protection, and inclusive learning.

EduElevate Center (Chehim – Mount Lebanon): A hub for teacher coaching, vocational training, academic retention, and women’s empowerment. The center promotes innovation in education and leadership through technology-enhanced learning and creative teaching strategies.

School in a Bus (SIAB) Initiative: Mobile classrooms providing Basic Literacy and Numeracy (BLN), Youth BLN (YBLN), and PSS activities for displaced children across Mount Lebanon and South Lebanon.

Community-Based Education: In partnership with the READ Foundation (UK), CVC implements CB-ECE and BLN programs in Ketermaya (Chouf) and Bebnine (Akkar) to reintegrate out-of-school children into formal education.

🧠 2. Protection, Mental Health, and Human Rights

CVC Charity believes that humanitarian action must protect dignity and promote human rights for all.
Main Activities:

Psychosocial Support (PSS) and MHPSS: Structured sessions for children and caregivers addressing trauma, stress, and emotional well-being.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention: Awareness sessions for women and girls on rights, safety, and gender equality.

Child Protection and Safeguarding: Implementation of PSEA, Whistleblowing, and Child Protection Policies ensuring safe, inclusive, and rights-based programs.

Advocacy for Human Rights: Campaigns promoting the right to education, protection from exploitation, gender equality, and non-discrimination within communities and schools.

CVC Charity integrates innovation into humanitarian and development programming, believing that creativity drives resilience and sustainability.

Youth Innovation Labs: Workshops and competitions encouraging young people to design solutions for social and environmental challenges in their communities.

Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Support: Vocational training and coaching for youth and women to start micro-enterprises and social businesses.

Digital Literacy and E-Learning: Incorporating technology, e-platforms, and online learning tools to enhance access to quality education and remote capacity building.

Capacity Building for Local NGOs and Schools: Training on leadership, governance, MEAL, gender, safeguarding, and education in emergencies.

Empowerment of Women and Youth: Through life-skills workshops, vocational training, and mentorship programs aimed at achieving self-reliance and active citizenship.

🕊️ 6. Relief, Humanitarian Response, and Basic Assistance

CVC Charity ensures timely, dignified, and coordinated responses during crises to alleviate suffering and preserve dignity.
Key Activities:

Distribution of food parcels, ready-to-eat meals, winter clothing, heating fuel, and sleeping kits to vulnerable families in South Lebanon, Beqaa, and Mount Lebanon.

Emergency Education and Protection Response: Supporting displaced children with mobile schooling, psychosocial first aid, and academic retention support.

Cash Assistance for Families and Teachers: To support educational continuity and economic recovery during emergencies.

Partnerships with READ Foundation, Ummah Charity France, Penny Appeal UK, Stichting Vluchteling Netherlands, PARCIC Japan, and AMA South Africa.

Internal Policies and Systems: Including Partner Due Diligence, PSEA, Whistleblowing, and Corruption & Fraud Prevention Policies to ensure integrity and compliance.

Institutional Strengthening: Building internal monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems; and developing digital tools for project management and data analysis.
