General Information

TAD is a non-governmental organization founded in 2004 and registered in 2007 under number 734. It was assigned the unique number 21221029901344 after complying with Law 149. TAD was an idea of 2 persons Father. MAtta shafik - christian priest and Shihk. Sayead Abdel Aziz - Muslim emam they wanted to start social initiative to spread the peace and the coexistence values within the communities. The main program now is the peace building program furthermore TAD works in several programs such as Education , Health , Economical empowerment for youth and women - Gender justice and with people with disabilities.

Mission and Objectives

Our vision:
An elegant society in which social peace prevails, human dignity is respected, and all its members enjoy all their rights without discrimination. We are a preferred partner in the development field, and everyone knows us as a peace platform that participates with all parties.
Our mission:
Based on our belief in the role of joint action in the advancement of society, we, TAD, seek to empower the groups of society of their rights by qualifying community cadres to build a better society, realizing the difference, and improving the ability of society to rely on itself and develop its resources. This could be achieved through an interrelated set of development programs such as peace and coexistence, education, health, community integration, economic development and other programs that stem from the needs of society. We lead our work with a spirit of excellence and creativity because those we serve deserve the best.
Our strategic objectives:
Continuous institutional development that ensures professional performance.
Promoting peace and the values of coexistence.
Improving the economic status of poor communities, especially young people and women.
Empowering “vulnerable and marginalized groups” to integrate into all aspects of life.
Preparing young people for the job market.
Improving the learning and protection environment for children up to the age of 18.
Improving the health of individuals, especially mothers and children within communities.
Improving the environment and conserving natural resources.
Promoting public taste, upholding traditions, and preserving heritage.

Main Projects / Activities

- "Live together" project to spread peace building values
- "Our fraternity is our strengthen" to activate the "Humanity Fraternity" document which signed by Pop. Francis and Shikh. Ahmed El- tayab.
- "Welcome" project to rehabilitate the bringing up institutions (Family - School - Youth center - Culture center) to be able to bring up on the coexistence values.
- "Peace ambassadors" project to rehabilitate the young people to be ambassador of peace within their communities.
- "Capacity building of the civil organization in Asyut" project
- "Together to face the violence against women" project
- "For and with her" project to fight the gender based violence.
- "Technological capacity development" project to develop the capacity of 60 community schools in Asyut, Sohage and Qina.
- "My future is in my country" to economic empowerment of youth.
Our activities in general:

- Raising awareness meetings
- Social awareness campaigns.
- cooperating meetings with the official persons.
-Using the arts with youth.
- Psychological sessions for survives.
- Educational support for pupils

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We can participate in organized meetings or workshops, and we can participate in mapping peace efforts across the country to organize interventions, maximize their impact, and ensure their integration.
We can report on our peace building work.
We can organize and participate in all events organized by the ALF network.

We believe that the real positive change in the communities doesn't be achieved without cooperation among several parts, we believe that Anna Lindh network is an estimated and great network and we are honor if we will be part of this entity. We seek to increase our experience in peace building field or in different fields of development. we seek to exchange our experiences and share them with others and in the same time to know others experiences we seek to profit any opportunity which the ALF provide for support our poor communities in Upper- Egypt.
