Troy Environmental Association was founded in 2009. The founder are PR experts and academic people from different parts. The main theme of the organisation is climate change. In these area are so many academic works, but it does't known by the public. The association is working against the effects of climate change for better understand by the people. We organize different workshops and educations for different organizations (like NGO's, volunteers, municipalities, Chambers and groups). We have more than 40 members. Also we are working with the Greens of Turkey.Mission and Objectives
Our mission is better communication for all the public. For these mission we organize different training methods and non formal education kits.Main Projects / Activities
1-Farmers against Climate Change (with Australian Consulate) 2-Green Cities (with the Municipality of Canakkale) 3-Environmental educations in the Canakkale City CouncilHow can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We have worked for the Local Agenda 21 for sustainable development since 1997. We have a very lot of experiences in sustainable development in small cities. We want to change these practices.Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We will see national and international experiences and different organisations on sustainable development and democracy. We will more effective with these experiences in our city and the region.Approved
