The Watan Union for Palestinian Non-Governmental Charitable Organizations is a charitable association operating in the field of development, established by social activists qualified and experienced in social and humanitarian work. Its objectives include developing civil institutions, enhancing their role in protecting public freedoms and citizenship rights, building cooperation between local, Arab and international civil work institutions, influencing legislation, policies and development plans, and empowering the federation to achieve its mission and goals.

Mission and Objectives

Mission : Wattan Union is the foundation of the Palestinian NGOs seeking to achieve sustainable development in order to reach freedom and equality, through organizing, networking and supporting NGOs in playing. Objectives : 1.Enhancing the scope of civil society organizations and their contribution to developing civil society. 2.Promoting economic, social, and political development by establishing connections and collaborations between local and international civil work institutions. 3.Creating policies, laws, and plans that facilitate the development and funding of projects that benefit our people, especially the poor and marginalized. 4.Creating a supportive and motivating work environment for NGOs in the Gaza Strip.

Main Projects / Activities

1.Enhancing the quality of services provided in the field of institutional construction. 2.Enhancing the working environment of civil society organizations in Gaza to improve their effectiveness. 3.Raising the level of bag makers' and community members' awareness and responsiveness to the priorities and requirements of civil society.

1.Spreading the culture of Analind Network among the Palestinian NGOs. 2.Communicating the message and objectives of the network to NGOs. 3.Encouraging Palestinian NGOs to join the Network's membership
