The Women Embrace Empowerment (WEE) Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women through education, mentorship, and community support. Based in Malta, WEE provides a platform for women of all backgrounds to learn, grow, and connect. The foundation organises events, workshops, and networking opportunities to foster personal and professional development. WEE believes in the power of solidarity and the importance of creating a supportive environment where women can thrive. The Women Embracing Empowerment (WEE) Foundation is dedicated to advancing gender equality and empowering women across all spheres of life. Our mission is to contribute to a world where women have equal opportunities, resources, and rights, enabling them to achieve their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities and society
Mission and Objectives
WEE's mission is to support and uplift women by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to achieve their goals. The foundation aims to:
Promote social inclusion and integration for women from diverse backgrounds.
Enhance education and skills development to improve career and personal growth opportunities.
Empower youth by fostering leadership skills and self-confidence.
Create a strong network of mentors and role models who inspire and guide women in their journeys.
Advocate for gender equality and women's rights through awareness campaigns and community engagement.
Main Projects / Activities
WEE Talk Events – Inspirational talks featuring women leaders, professionals, and activists sharing their experiences and insights.
Skills Development Workshops – Training sessions focused on career advancement, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and personal growth.
Mentorship Programme – Connecting women with experienced mentors who provide guidance and support in their professional and personal development.
Youth Empowerment Initiatives / Programmes aimed at building confidence, leadership, and skills among young women.
Networking & Community Building – Regular meetups and events to foster connections and collaborations among women from different backgrounds.
Advocacy & Awareness Campaigns – Promoting discussions and actions on issues such as gender equality, social inclusion, and women's rights.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Host Events / Organize WEE Talk sessions, workshops, or networking events to engage and empower women in local Maltese communities.
Collaborate with Organizations/partner with other NGOs to enhance outreach and create more opportunities for women.
Advocate for gender equality, raise awareness on key issues affecting women, and promote policies that foster equality and empowerment.
Support Skill Development/Share Expertise: Conduct training or provide resources to help women enhance their personal and professional growth.
