The Women's Program Center in the Nuseirat camp in Gaza is one of the local entities that provide health and social care services and economic empowerment for women.
Mission and Objectives
Objectives of the Women's Programs Centre – Al Nuseirat Camp, Gaza
1. Primary healthcare services: Improve access to early detection services (e.g., breast cancer), maternal care, and health education to reduce common health issues among women.
2. Psychosocial support: Provide mental health and psychosocial support mechanisms for women and girls to help them overcome the effects of trauma and gender-based violence.
3. Economic empowerment: Qualify women through vocational training courses (sewing, handicrafts, computer skills) to support female-headed households and improve family income.
4. Awareness and advocacy: Raise awareness about women's health and social rights within the local marginalized community.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
I can contribute by sharing field expertise on women's healthcare under crisis in Gaza, connecting the network with local civil society actors, documenting challenges and successes, engaging other young health workers, and implementing small-scale dialogue or health awareness projects aligned with ALF's mission.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
I want to join the ALF network because I believe in the power of cross-cultural dialogue to address shared challenges, especially in women’s health and gender equality. Working in Gaza under difficult humanitarian conditions, I have witnessed how local solutions can be strengthened through regional cooperation. I seek to connect with professionals and organizations across the Mediterranean who are working on similar issues, so we can exchange knowledge, build capacities, and advocate together for better healthcare access for women in crisis settings. I also hope to represent the youth and civil society perspective from Gaza within the network.
