We are NGO based on volunteer work. We have 31 professional members who participate in projects proposals and implementation and are trained in EUROMED context. We have more than 200 active young people who support us in projects. Our funding is based on local organizations like banks and schools, in addition to international organizations especially EUROMED. We have partners all over MEDA (Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco) and EU (Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Poland) in addition to UK, Ireland, Georgia, in addition to local partner organizations including YWCA, Right to Play, LANA, PYO.Mission and Objectives
Mission: Facilitate through various means the development of a dynamic and informed world-wide NGO community able to influence policies and actions at all levels. Objectives: A. Improve NGOs accessibility and presence B. Enhance the effective engagement of civil society and youth C. Strengthen the dialogue between youth in different parts of Middle East and Europe D. Engage NGOs to work together on issues of common interest E. Education / Capacity Development F. Work in partnership with civil society focal points G. Advocate on the Principles and Goals that NGOs shareMain Projects / Activities
Our main projects involve youth and woman for enhancements of their capacities and vision. We work on several developmental projects in the need of our community within word wide frame including environment, health, democracy, active citizenship.How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We are very active in Lebanon, we do workshops and have netwroking activities with other partner organizations. Our projects invilve bringing youth and women from different cultures and backgrounds for exchange of experiences and education.Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
