YESOLP stands for Youth Empowerment on Society and Life Pursuit. A youth organization based in Nicosia Cyprus. Yesolp vision is to empower youths through active Citizenship and particapation. Made of 5 board members and 20 members , Yesolp strive to contribute to the civil space in Cyprus by which we empower youths to be active participants in their various societies and take charge of their future. As a new and growing organization, we are currently insearch funding units and collaborative partners. Meanwhile, as an informal group we have organize seminars, workshops, trainings with local NGOS in Cyprus and some of our members have participated in Youth mobility projects with other NGOS out of CyprusMission and Objectives
YESoLP aims to empower young people, to learn and know who they are, their role and rights in the society, and how they can contribute to the development of their societies, creating a non-judgmental environment where young people from all communities are welcome to share skills, learn, teach, and improve the community we share through collaboration, mutual support, and interaction of its members. Within this framework, the goals of YESoLP are focused on building emerging, visionary youths who can take full responsibility for the future, creating, coordinating, implementing, and organizing programs promoting justice, democracy, humanitarian action, solidarity development, atypical education, community development. In particular, the Association promotes solidarity and volunteering, and actively contributes to the development, creation, and implementation of programs to combat the social and economic exclusion of groups, of young people aged between 18-35, everywhere.Main Projects / Activities
The provision of life skills education, training, training and development programs, for young people aged between 18-40,regardless of their ethnicity, background.Thus, the training of volunteers, educators, parents and yount, vulnerable persons and groups as well as other interests in the training, training, and development of life skills. Offering assistance to vulnerable groups and individuals and all those in need of both physical and mental support. (The development, creation, and dissemination of non formal educational material. Therefore, by engaging in non formal education through the promotion and implementation of non formal educational/training programs, activities and special events. ANALYN FOUNDATION focus to enhance intercultural actions, through empowering young voices, influencing policmakers, and building a movement through dialoque and exchange, are some of the key principles of YESOLP Foundation, where youths are empower to lead the future which belongs to them.Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
