You4Right is a program run by young volunteers that focuses on preparing young boys and girls with the understanding, training, and self-assurance in knowing and advocating for their own rights. As a result of spreading information, training, and community involvement, the program has aimed for the general public to be educated on human rights, children’s rights, rights to education and other basic needs. Youth4Right aims for the younger generation to be educated so they can be their own advocates and become agents of positive transformation in their communities. So that young boys and girls can advocate for their own rights and the rights of others, they have been given all the necessary resources.
Mission and Objectives
Youth4Right aspires to empower young people through awareness, education, and the promotion of fundamental rights. Our aim is to provide knowledge and instill confidence among youth for the assertion, protection, and advancement of their rights, thereby preparing active contributors towards justice, inclusiveness, and resilience in societies.
Raise Awareness: Providing information on human rights, child rights, educational rights, and minimum livable needs in a comprehensible way.
Empower Capacities: training sessions, workshops, and learning opportunities that will enhance youth skills in advocacy, leadership, and rights-based understanding.
Empower Youth Participation: Encourage young people to actively participate in community-based initiatives, decision-making processes, and rights-based dialogue.
Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups: Emphasize providing equal opportunities and access to information to all categories of youth, especially the most marginalized.
Create Sustainable Impact: Develop long-term programs and partnerships that enhance the resilience of youth and contribute positively to social change.
Main Projects / Activities
Youth4Right leads a diverse range of awareness, educational, and advocacy activities that are designed to empower young people and amplify their voices:
Webinars and Online Awareness Sessions:
We host interactive webinars on a regular basis with the help of our partners, such as Sawa, JOE, and Jordan, in the fields of youth rights, human rights, child rights, and environmental justice. Our sessions also highlight topics such as the water footprint, climate challenges, and personal empowerment.
International Representation:
Our team proudly represents Youth4Right at all major global gatherings: COP28, COP29, the Brazil Conference, among other international youth and climate platforms. By doing so, we make sure that the voice of the youth is heard in global discussions on rights, justice, and sustainability.
Partnership with Greenpeace:
We have entered into a strategic partnership with Greenpeace, through which we will be conducting a set of face-to-face workshops in Beirut, Lebanon. These workshops seek to enhance youth understanding on environmental rights, climate justice, and community participation. Collaboration with Loyac Lebanon: In partnership with Loyac Lebanon, we are organizing, for the first time, a workshop on gender, women's rights, and the intersection between gender and climate change. This collaboration aligns with our mission to advance equality and empower young women in climate action. Digital Awareness Campaigns: Youth4Right was founded to create awareness on youth rights, social issues, environmental challenges, and daily life skills through creative and educational Instagram Reels, videos, and posts. Going digital makes the platform accessible to a wider audience while engaging youth across Lebanon and beyond. Youth-Led Knowledge Sharing: Operating with a dynamic and growing team, we are continuously developing online content, discussions, and engagements that foster youth participation and rights-based advocacy.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
I can help strengthen the Network in my country by drawing from my experience in youth engagement, climate advocacy, and rights-based education to enhance participation and outreach. I can lead from the front through my initiative, Youth4Right, by organizing awareness sessions, workshops, and community activities aimed at empowering young people with knowledge on human rights, climate justice, and social issues. I will be able to help the Network scale up partnerships with local organizations, project the voice of the youth in national discussions, and mobilize young people toward active participation in regional and global initiatives. With my active presence at national and international platforms, I will be able to bridge global priorities with local action, making sure that the youth of my country are informed, included, and prepared to drive positive change.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
I believe in the power of dialogue, cultural exchange, and youth-driven collaboration toward building more inclusive and peaceful societies. Joining this Network will allow me to connect with diversified organizations and leaders across the Euro-Mediterranean region, enhance my knowledge, and amplify the impact of my work in youth empowerment, human rights, and climate justice. On the ALF platform, I look forward to sharing my experiences, contributing toward regional initiatives, learning from others, and forming meaningful partnerships in support of social cohesion and sustainable development. Network membership would provide a chance to amplify young voices from my country in a collective effort toward a more connected and resilient region.
