Zallanda Koshan is a Project Manager based in Berlin with a background in political science, civil society and international cooperation. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, specialising in Democratic Governance and Civil Society, from the University of Osnabrück. She has several years of experience in international cooperation, including her work with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), where she worked on initiatives related to strengthening civil society, women’s rights and access to justice, including in the contexts of Afghanistan and Syria.
Mission and Objectives
As a member of the Afghan diaspora in Germany, Zallanda brings both a professional and personal perspective on Afghanistan. Her engagement has particularly focused on women’s rights, access to justice, civic participation and the role of diaspora communities in contributing to civil society.
Main Projects / Activities
Through her professional and personal experiences, she is interested in strengthening inclusive societies, democratic participation and dialogue across cultures.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
Through my involvement with the Anna Lindh Foundation, I would have the opportunity to contribute to its work in promoting intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding across the Euro-Mediterranean region. I believe that by sharing my ideas, experiences, and perspectives, I can support initiatives that bring people from different backgrounds together, while also learning from others and developing my own skills. Joining the ALF Network would therefore allow me to actively contribute to a more connected, inclusive, and collaborative society.
