11th edition of Windcraft Music Fest

Anna Lindh Foundation Cyprus Network members, Windcraft, organised the 11th edition of Windcraft Music Fest from 25 to 27 July in the picturesque village of Katydhata, in the Troodos mountains of Cyprus.

The festival brought together musicians and ensembles from Cyprus and various European countries, creating a unique blend of traditional music, jazz, and contemporary sounds. It served as a vibrant platform for artistic collaborations between artists who had never worked together before, highlighting the richness that emerges from intercultural exchange.

This year’s edition featured standout performances such as Copper Curios, a duo experimenting with wind instruments and electronic music, and the interdisciplinary piece “Her Body”, based on the ancient myth of Pan and Syrinx, combining music, movement, and narrative.

The final day of the festival was dedicated to the local community, transforming the village into a hub of creative activity with live performances, participatory events, and free access for all.

Windcraft Music Fest continues to demonstrate the power of music to connect cultures, inspire innovation, and build bridges across borders.
