Slovenian Philantrophy is organising the 27th National Volunteer Week, which is taking place from 18 to 24 May 2026. The week is dedicated to celebrating volunteering and volunteer organisations, as well as expressing gratitude to volunteers for their engagement and contribution to society.

The programme includes several events across Slovenia, such as the Celebration Day of Volunteering in Divača on 19 May, Volunteer Joy Day in Koper on 20 May, and Volunteer Joy Day in Ljubljana on 21 May, along with many other events in different local communities.

The week is inspired by values of solidarity, compassion, and cooperation, and invites people across Slovenia to join in celebrating and strengthening the spirit of volunteering.
