The 3rd Limassol International Book Fair, organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation Cyprus Network member The Limassol Book Fair, concluded with resounding success, welcoming over 7,500 attendees during its three-day run from November 23 to 25, 2024. The event is a leading cultural initiative focused on Books and Letters.

Kicking off on November 22, the Limassol International Book Fair Conference set the stage for a vibrant and enlightening experience. Held at the historic Lanitis Carob Mill venue in Limassol, this all-day international professional conference brought together stakeholders from the book industry across Cyprus, Greece, and Euro-Mediterranean region. It served as a hub for knowledge exchange, inspiration, and networking opportunities.

The conference's program highlighted critical topics such as the evolving role of national and Cypriot libraries, the advancement of digital skills, and the alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Panels explored innovative areas like digital marketing, artificial intelligence applications in publishing, and cross-cultural literary exchanges, emphasizing the promotion of women's contributions in literature.

The 2024 conference featured 30 speakers from diverse backgrounds, addressing themes related to libraries, publishing, and creative industries. A notable highlight was the introduction of the inaugural B2B Space, a dedicated area fostering professional meetings and collaborations.

The fair welcomed a diverse group of participants, including book professionals, bookstore owners, authors, and others from related fields. It focused on bringing people together, sharing ideas, and celebrating a love for literature while exploring the evolving needs of the book world.
