This is the fifth year that Station Europe's president, Alin Gramescu, has offered A Very Personal Fellowship

to a young professional woman making an impact in society. Meet our new fellow!

Daria Ienea is a first-year student in International Relations and European Studies, but that is just a fraction of her identity. She is passionate about history, sociology, and political science while also deeply valuing performance art, literature, and all forms of self-expression.
Her dedication to civic engagement led her to join Station Europe, where she has continuously grown both personally and professionally. This year, she stepped into the role of national coordinator for Understanding Europe Romania, actively recruiting and engaging new trainers.
Daria is energetic, ambitious, and leadership-oriented, striving to inspire her peers to get involved and take action. She embodies a bold, forward-thinking mindset, building her future one determined step at a time.

A very personal fellowship.
This is for the troublemakers. For the non-conformists who made up their own rules. For the next European leaders.
“It’s time for the giveback. We, the generations of new young adults who have already benefited from projects and opportunities and reached a certain stability, can help the ones who have just started on this path. Starting at 30 years old, I pledged to myself to help one ambitious change-maker a year. A very personal fellowship program that will give an extra hand to the chosen fellows and keep me anchored into their world.”
Alin Gramescu - the president of Station Europe and the initiator of this fellowship
